Japanese luxury brand Hoshino has opened a resort in the middle of Ubud’s rainforest. The 30 ryokan style villas with Japanese tatamis, are located along the Pakerisan River, a sacred river valley whose canals are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Landscape. Guests can choose to swim in the canals or the pool whose temperature changes throughout the day.

Bawah Private Island is a cluster of five pristine islands nestled among three lagoons and is the first island in the region to be powered by renewable energy.
