Follow Julia Roberts’ fabled path and find out how to regain happiness and keep balance in your life by consulting with local healers such as the famous Ketut from “Eat, Pray, Love”. But before we’ll take you to the holy man’s ashram, we would like to introduce you to the Balinese way of cooking. By visiting local markets in Ubud, you’ll learn all about spices and secret ingredients used for this unique cuisine. Under the supervision of an experienced “Ibu” (Indonesian word for “mom” or “lady”), you will prepare delicious and healthy meals that will amaze your family and friends back home.
Balinese food has a soul and you are about to discover it. After this very special lunch you’ll have a private session with a Balian (a Balinese spiritual healer), which is always consulted by Balinese people in case of any troubles, concerns or doubts. Prepare a list of questions you’d like to ask him and keep your mind open – this might be a life changing experience! We will bring you back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
INCLUDED: Private Balinese cooking class (5 hours), lunch, private session with Balian (Pak Kadek or Pak Gero Dama – the most respected Balians on the island), all transfers
