Time to become a man of the wild! After breakfast we will take you to the river bank where you will learn how to ride an elephant through the vast jungle of Sumatra. Who knows – maybe you will be lucky enough to see Rafflesia – the world’s biggest flower that can only be seen in Sumatra and Borneo. Once the safari is done get wet by jumping on a massive inner tube and wade down the wild river but don’t worry – we’ll make sure that somebody catches you before reaching the ocean. Boost your energy with a tasty lunch and then chill out on the riverbank with a cold beer in your hand. Relax, it’s been an intense day so far… There will be dinner in the evening and another night again in the same guesthouse.

Once arriving to Bukit Lawang, check into your hotel and have lunch in the restaurant, later on we’ll cross the river by canoe and start trekking through the jungle. By 3PM we should reach the platform used by rangers to feed wild orangutans, a great opportunity to stand eye-to-eye with those magnificent animals. You should be back at the hotel by evening for dinner and a cold beer.
