TOUR DESCRIPTION

Unavailable anywhere else, come experience the real Bali with an emphasis on this island’s spiritual and religious aspects.

Begin your tour at a Brahmin’s private house. Bapak Astiki, a Balinese-Hindu priest, also happens to be a friend of ours that performs numerous ceremonies, every single day, according to the complicated rituals of Balinese Hinduism.

Bapak Astiki’s wife will prepare traditional Balinese ceremonial costumes for you (an indispensable element that allowes entrance into the inner parts of shrines) and offerings for prayer later in the shrines.

While enjoying your morning cup of coffee and tea, Astika will explain how to make offerings, what should be done during the blessing, and the meaning of the complicated ritual procedures that are everyday reality for the Balinese. After the ceremony is concluded you’ll still have time to explore the Central Bali area – Jatiluwih, the biggest rice field terraces in Bali, which are placed in the Unesco World Heritage List.

Later in the afternoon you’ll continue your trip to Tanah Lot – truly spectacular temple built on piece of rock torn off the mainland and sorrounded by the ocean. When the tide comes high it seems like the temple is actually floating on the water.
